ABBOCCATO is a small family cattery located in Southern California near Diamond Bar.  

Raised in our bedroom and handled since birth, our babies are very people-oriented and will want to be around you.   We train our babies to sleep with us, cuddle with us, watch TV with us, and be the most affectionate cats possible.   We never want our babies to be declawed, so we also train them to scratch on cardboard and sisal (rope), not your couch.

Each ABBOCCATO baby comes with at least its first two sets of shots, a five-year genetic health guarantee, as well as being parasite, FeLV/FIV and ringworm free.   Spaying or neutering is included in the price for an ABBOCCATO baby, so you don't have to worry about hormones affecting your cat's personality.  Each kitten comes with a contract, medical record, 5-generation pedigree, "papers" in TICA and/or CFA (usually both), and a "goodie bag" of several favorite toys.  ABBOCCATO kittens should never be allowed outside because of their docile nature and inability to defend themselves. 

ABBOCCATO is currently testing its breeding cats for the HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyophathy) gene.  This test is now available through Washington State University.  Check the following link for more information:  http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/deptsVCGL/felineTests.aspx.

ABBOCCATO is very proud of its cats, so we show them as well as breed for true ragdoll temperment and personality.  Check back with us from time to time to see the latest litter, our "show stoppers", or if we have any retired breeders available for nominal fees.

KITTEN DELIVERY is available within California, to Las Vegas, Nevada and to Phoenix, Arizona.  Due to rising fuel costs, there will be a charge for gasoline (but our time is free!).  Shipping available within the United States and (sometimes) Canada.  We do not ship outside of North America.

NOTE:  Home visitation of our cattery is no longer allowed by my husband.  We will be happy to meet you, with no more than two kittens, at a location convenient to you.
